If you are interested in RC Planes or other radio controlled aircraft and live in the Blount County (Alcoa, Friendsville, Louisville, Maryville, Rockford, Townsend) area the BCMA has a place for you! Whether you are new to RC or an old hat, our rc club is a friendly place to spread your wings.
Bert Kissick Memorial Airfield is located at the Blount County Land Fill in East Tennessee. We require our members to be insured by the AMA. We average around forty members per year.
We now have a 45ft X 300ft GeoTextile runway and four taxiways. Check out the pictures in the Photo Gallery. Visitors are always welcome to watch, and if you are insured by the AMA, then you can fly as a guest of a paid member. Check out the pages on this site to get more details about membership, our calendar of events and our photo gallery.
